Merritt College is a landscape horticulture school in Oakland that offers the only aesthetic pruning program in America, in addition to landscaping, rock setting, and horticulture classes.

Merritt College Pruning Club allows beginners to intermediate pruners to learn hands-on natural pruning for free while volunteering at non-profit gardens in the S. F. Bay Area—learn from professionals and have fun.
